Valentine’s Day!

Valentine’s Day is a time when people show feelings of love, affection and friendship. It is celebrated in many ways worldwide and falls on February 14 each year.

Valentine’s Day is celebrated as the day of love. It is a day when people tell their loved ones (boyfriends, girlfriends, husbands, wives, friends and even family) how much they mean to them. While Valentine’s Day itself is celebrated with chocolates, candies, flowers and heart-shaped gifts, the week leading up to it is also celebrated as the week of love. It is a time when love is definitely in the air.

Cupid’s arrow is poised and ready for February 14th!

February’s days of love and what each day in Valentine week means:

Loved up couples celebrate Valentine’s Week by marking each day with a special significance. The week starts on February 7 with Rose Day when people in love give their loved one’s roses as a symbol of their affection. Promise Day, Chocolate Day, Teddy Day, Kiss Day are other days in this love-filled week where you’ll get plenty of opportunities to convey your love. Valentine’s Week finally ends on February 14, with Valentine’s Day.

    Let me help you further with ‘Steps to Valentines Week’ and what each day means;

Rose Day (7th Feb) : Valentine Week starts with a Rose Day. On Rose Day, lovers greet each other with beautiful, crimson red roses (yellow roses are given to friends). Treat your partner to a romantic meal or send a greeting card to a secret love.

The colour of a rose signifies various emotions. Here is what each colour represents:

    Red : Love and romance

    Yellow : Friendship and joy

Lavender : Love at first sight and majestic

    Pink : Love and appreciation

    White : Innocence and purity

    Orange : Desire and passion

Propose Day (8Th Feb): On Propose Day, you can propose to the girl / boy that you have a crush on. This is a popular day to announce love and to propose to your partner and give gifts like cards or flowers. If you have been waiting for ages to express your love towards that pretty girl or boy in your Uni, a girl or / boy next door or even a glamorous lady in your office on whom you have had a crush for quite a long time and never had the guts to say, this is the right day to express your feelings.

Chocolate Day (9th Feb): Dedicated to chocolates, Woo your girlfriend or wife/partner with a box of chocolates and a nice card. A warm chocolate dessert is a sure-fire way to please your woman and it also can increase her Sexual Libido. It’s sweetness will surely enhance the charm in your relation.

Teddy Day (10th Feb) :  Time for you to send a teddy that ‘bears’ your love to your wife/partner, friends and loved ones. Women love teddy bears very much, and they always keep them in their bedroom with good memories. So, don’t forget to tickle your partner with a soft toy.

Promise Day (11th Feb) : Love comes with lots of responsibilities, commitments & promises. Make some new promises and try to fulfil old ones to concrete your relationship. “Promise little and do much.”

Hug Day (12th Feb) : Hug your partner or friend tightly. Hugs are an important expression of affection. Just take it slow and steady and show your partner that you love, care and support him/her.

Kiss Day (13th Feb) : Kiss Day is the 6th day of Valentine week, kiss your partner passionately to express your love.

Valentine Day (14th Feb) : Here comes the special day…. Valentines Day, the most romantic day of the year! Show your love to your partner, spend time with them. Eat, drink – do whatever you want to do to make them happy. Make this special day a memorable moment of your life. Express your love by presenting flowers, offering confectionery, sending greeting cards and go that one step further and do a LIVE dedication on Radio XL 1296AM ‘Love Express’.
